Lone Star Lake a few tips to farm it guide.First off there are NO Uniques as far as I can tell, And the fish in here are not that big at all. Not like Real Life. Example: The spotted bass you catch are mostly in the range of a little over 1 pound to a little over 3 if you are lucky. The Real life version of this fish can be 11 pounds, there are no 11 pounders in here so don't worry. Your starting gear shold be perfect for the lake.
To farm this lake successfully I would first concentrate on getting a bigger holding net or a bigger stringer (cage) first. The starter one is not that big at all, and if you catch a couple of fish you will fill it quickly. Best way to deal with this is fish at peak times to fill the net or cage faster and in a private room until you get enough money saved for a bigger net or cage when you level.
Basicly fill the net/cage as fast as you can during peek times, leave the lake, and come back in. Rince and repeat.
Now the fish farming:
1) Buffalo(carp) are great for XP, use a small hook like #8 or #6. Petfood is the cheepest easiest to get, but they also like Somalina balls. They are also easier to catch on sunny days in deeper waters. The leader calls for 50 inches, but I caught more on a fully extended leader 99 inches in deep water (they are bottom feeders after all).
2) Spotted Bass, are Best for money, a 2 pound bass can net a little over 100. When a 2 pound catfish will net under 100. Spotted Bass also love a 2 inch worm Brown or white with a 1/4 oz jighead. It calls to use 1/3 oz casting spoons if you don't want the worms. Use the silver casting spoons on cloudy days, and yellow on sunny days.
The fish in this game are nowhere near the right way to fish them IRL Just about Every lure in this game is stop and go retrieve. Even spinnerbaits call for that method in most cases. IRL spinnerbaits need to keep moving so don't go in the game and use the lures like they are supposed to be used IRL, you will catch NOTHING.
